Items mentioned in this episode
- Our weekend foray to the National St. Kateri Tekakwitha Shrine
- Recent post about feeling overwhelmed, and support from friends!
- I forgot to mention this, but my June piece for Catholic Mom is up, and it's part of their summer series "Ordinary Time, Extraordinary Mercy."
Hey Tiffany! Love your hair in a ponytail!!
ReplyDeleteI also have found that my allergies have gotten much worse in the last few years - I have to deal with them almost year round now. I wanted to mention to you the fact that my ENT just put me on Singular. It's advertised for the treatment of asthma, but it's also used for allergies. I just started taking it, so I'm not sure how effective it will be, but you might want to talk to your doctor about it. Maybe it will help you. :o) Hope you feel better soon!
I have been having a very nice summer. I'm not working at the preschool anymore, so that was a big stress relief for me. I have been getting lots of rest, and it has been glorious!
I'm glad you have a new creative project on the horizon. That's very exciting! The fact that your work is giving you time to work on it is further proof that it's God directed. :o)
Your discussion of discernment hit home and it is encouraging to hear stories of how God is working in other people's life. Discernment is hard and it occurred to me when listening that perhaps I've been avoiding it. With my Grandma's passing last month, I know a lot of changes are coming but I'm not quite sure what the end result will be. It occurred to me that instead of trying to come up with the right words for a blog comment about discernment and prayer, I should actually be praying. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Cindy!! ooo, that's interesting about Singular. Henry takes that for his asthma. I have Zyrtec, and of course I never remember to take it, so that means it isn't very effective, yes? ;-)
ReplyDeleteSo glad your summer has been less stressful! It's a great time to decompress and recharge. Indeed!
Hi Melanie! Yes, this is what I was hoping for with this episode - if I've struggled with this in the past, I know my friends must have as well! We're in this together. *hug*
