    2) My legs are still sore from driving yesterday 😂
    3) I always get nervous about meeting people too.

  2. Oh, yes, I have met several people in person whom I had previously met either online or as pen pals. All were great experiences! Three years ago, I met my friend, Susan, in person after we'd met when I sent her a 'fan' letter. (She writes for children and we hit it off as I also write for children too.) When she came to my state for a homeschool conference, we met in person - for the past three years! And she passed along a job to me that resulted in my ghostwriting a book that finaled in the Silver Spur Award - a dream come true for me! Was nervous at first, but she's turned out to be one of my best friends and we are like twins raised apart!

  3. Thank you for mentioning the construction happening outside your building. As I listened to the podcast on my commute this morning, I was trying to figure out what that sound was and did I need to do anything about it. I'm glad only a few seconds passed between me hearing the sound and you telling me what it was. :)

I got my MLIS through a mostly online program. I enjoyed the opportunities I had to meet fellow students and sometimes professors in person.
