Have you ever met someone in real life that you had only known previously online? Tell me all about it in the comments!

  1. Jumbled thoughts ;-)

    1) I'm so glad we got to meetup in person!! It was such a blessing <3
    2) My legs are still sore from driving yesterday 😂
    3) I always get nervous about meeting people too.
    4) I love that Thankful hoop on your wall!

  2. Oh, yes, I have met several people in person whom I had previously met either online or as pen pals. All were great experiences! Three years ago, I met my friend, Susan, in person after we'd met when I sent her a 'fan' letter. (She writes for children and we hit it off as I also write for children too.) When she came to my state for a homeschool conference, we met in person - for the past three years! And she passed along a job to me that resulted in my ghostwriting a book that finaled in the Silver Spur Award - a dream come true for me! Was nervous at first, but she's turned out to be one of my best friends and we are like twins raised apart!

    1. Donna, how positively LOVELY! I feel that way about Sam, Cristina and Allison - they're like my sisters!

  3. Thank you for mentioning the construction happening outside your building. As I listened to the podcast on my commute this morning, I was trying to figure out what that sound was and did I need to do anything about it. I'm glad only a few seconds passed between me hearing the sound and you telling me what it was. :)

I got my MLIS through a mostly online program. I enjoyed the opportunities I had to meet fellow students and sometimes professors in person.

    1. Melanie, lol! It was this guy working on a door. SO MUCH NOISE. FOR SUCH A SMALL DOOR. It was just odd. He worked on it all day. :0

Thank you for commenting! I read and appreciate every single one, and I will respond to each one personally!
