Tea Time with Tiffany #81 - Dealing with dread...

A real uplifter ;-) for today's installment of:

Yes, I'm talking about dread, we all deal with it sometimes. BUT, we put a positive spin on things, in a real What Would St. Francis de Sales Do?! kind of style.

I very much need YOUR input this week! What do you do to stave away that negative feeling of anticipation, and/or to lift your spirits during a difficult day?

  1. I feel the same way about our texts during the day! 💜

I've been finding myself repeating short prayers throughout the day lately, especially when I get anxious about teaching something new. Prayers like "Come Holy Spirit," " Lord, have mercy," "Jesus, I trust in you," etc have been repeated often. I'm so busy the whole school day, but it helps to just repeat these to myself when I'm gathering my thoughts between transitions, or when the kids are at specials.

Many prayers for you as you start your semester Monday!

This is an excellent idea. Will employ today as I begin to teach again!

  2. Yeah! Thanks for the PC plugs! I'm so happy you had a great time at the party and booked your own. More good times ahead. If this librarian thing doesn't work out, you would be a great consultant ;)
