Today I focused on performing, and my move up to dancing in a troupe. Are there spiritual lessons to be learned from performing? Yes, there are! Listen to find out what those are. :)
Items mentioned during this episode:
- Quilting fiction: Jennifer Chiaverini's Elm Creek Quilt series
- My very first, sweat-inducing dance solo
- Fun times on rickety runways with my troupe
- St. Cecilia, patron saint of musicians!

ReplyDeleteThanks Amy, I'll check it out!
ReplyDeleteSo as I watched the video, I thought she is wearing a cowl and it must be warm out. Maybe they are not cold weather items as I had previously thought.
ReplyDeleteHi Melanie! It's been a little cool here, but honestly, I find cowls useful year round. In the summer, the a/c situation is the main culprit!
DeleteSt. Cecilia was my confirmation saint too! My choir members in May gave me a framed print of "St. Cecilia and the Angel" as a gift. It is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your dancing stories. I've been enjoying them :-)
Stephanie!! So glad that you are here, and enjoying the videos :) And wow, a St. Cecilia connection, I love it! At the time, I chose her for superficial reasons (because I thought the name was pretty) but she has turned out to be absolutely clutch throughout my spiritual journey. :)
