  1. Yes! I will definitely reread The Thief. Lent and Easter sounds like a great time for that and The Tomb. :-)
I like the idea of skipping the fall for a book club. That's going to be a CRAZY time for me as well. I'll start thinking of ideas for an Advent book.

You're going to do great with all your dancing this weekend! <3
I'm looking forward to meeting up with my roommates from the past 2 years for Mass on Sunday! :-) I have hardly talked to either of them since May.

  2. I like the idea of having more book clubs and the suggested timing. I don't have an Advent suggestion today but I think it should be Christmas (or Advent) themed. Using the rest of the books in the Living Waters series for Lent/Easter could work well. The Thief gives me pause just because I'm not sure how much I want to read a story set around the crucifixion. However, if I can get a copy from the library I'd probably join in. The Tomb involves the story of Lazarus which interests me more. Interestingly the author's website lists The Tomb as book 0 in the Living Waters series.

I'm also working on a shawl in fingering weight yarn but mine is knit. I just finished a worsted weight hat so I'm readjusting to the feel of fingering weight. I recently ordered a lot of yarn and more than half is fingering weight so there are more fingering weight projects in my future.

    1. Melanie,

oh INTERESTING. Still a rising from the dead theme, so that's good. ;) I just really like the timing for those two.

What shawl pattern are you making?! I just love shawls.

  3. I'm knitting the Kindness KAL Shawl. The KAL was earlier this year so I'm not doing a KAL. I'm knitting it in Knit Picks Spacewalk gradient. http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/kindness-kal-shawl
