Anyway, she's a grandmother!! Her order is based up in Canada somewhere and they specifically take women who are older, usually widowed or just never got married and find a call to monastic life late in life. They have the choice to continue living in the world or living at the monastery up in Canada (I think maybe Nova Scotia??). Anyway, she has retained her given name, but if she ever chose to move up to the monastery I believe they receive a new name at that point. They have a lovely blue habit, full habit and everything. I wish I could remember the name of the order. It's something to do with the Holy Cross. They always all get together at the monastery in Canada once a year in September for a week around the order's feast day.Kerrihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06430536729673110616noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3943060470929085549.post-6514586092070403132013-07-22T12:04:17.669-04:002013-07-22T12:04:17.669-04:00I'm so excited for your daughter, Kate! My second series has been published and is available at Amazon. In the Holiday Series Olivia, Kyla, Sophie and Maddie are best friends. Come along and enjoy the drama, mystery, love and budding romances in the newest series.

Holiday Series tackles some pretty difficult subjects. My hopes are that Mothers and Daughters, Aunts and Nieces, Brothers and Sisters, and even Grandmothers and Granddaughters read these books together and then discuss them. Internet bullying, abortion, zero tolerance and its consequences, disrespectful and rude behavior as well as forgiveness, cancer, waiting for answers from God in God's time not ours, finding out the world does not revolve around us are some of the issues in the Holiday Series.

It is difficult raising teens in today's world. It is also difficult to find a way to talk with them without it being stilted and preachy! Maybe reading these books and then just discussing them on a car ride or sitting at the kitchen table would be a great way to begin these difficult situations.

They are available at http://amzn.to/SuRAN0

Thank you so much for your blog.meschttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13648825835997522217noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3943060470929085549.post-54830050894352729302013-07-19T23:01:33.114-04:002013-07-19T23:01:33.114-04:00Nice knitting!
