I taught in...I can relate to Anne with the pledge. I taught in a Catholic school for four years and we'd say, "God bless America" after the pledge. Now I'm in a public school and I still say it quietly in my head. . . after fuming that the kids on the PA system leading pledge started with, "I pledge OF allegiance. . ."
