So thrilled to be connected with you on Fitbit now. :) And yes a Jesse Tree, I have ornaments for one, and have just never *used* them, I need to get on this! I love your devotional reading idea. I've always been intrigued by those Bible-in-a-year Bibles. :) Let me know how it goes! With Lent being early this year, I think that will provide good motivation for all of us to keep going this winter.Tiffanyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05772700828819881141noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3943060470929085549.post-46920989569778452212016-01-07T09:01:21.889-05:002016-01-07T09:01:21.889-05:00I keep wanting to have a Jesse Tree instead of a C...I keep wanting to have a Jesse Tree instead of a Christmas Tree, so this year will be a treasure hunt challenge to find tokens to represent the 24 themes/topics/days/whatever. I'm using this as my reference: https://www.catholicculture.org/culture/liturgicalyear/activities/view.cfm?id=545

I've started devotional reading in the morning too. My husband has got one of those Bible-in-a-Year that I'm working through.

Other than that, I want to be more aware of my habits. With that in mind, I've started a non-judgmental food diary and a spending diary.Lara the (ex)Librariannoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3943060470929085549.post-84260792401434905342016-01-06T11:47:14.280-05:002016-01-06T11:47:14.280-05:00Melanie, right?! It's always nice and toasty in our bedroom (we have radiators that radiate a LOT of heat upstairs in the bedrooms) but in the bathroom and downstairs? BRRRRRRRRR. Definitely daunting. However, your first two (prayer and fitness) are things I have been thinking about lately. My prayer life hasn't been nonexistent but close. I know that the morning would be a good time for it and if I got up when my alarm went off I'd have time. I like your devotional reading in bed idea since one of my objections to getting up earlier is that it is cold in my house.Melaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13906826460232914998noreply@blogger.com
