Tea Time with Tiffany Episode 10 - The power of friendship...

Well, it's Thursday again, which is generally the day I whip out my web cam to record another installment of:

Another emotional topic for me this week, but this time I promise that I won't cry. :-) I had a little talk with myself beforehand to steel myself such that this wouldn't happen. I don't want to scare you away with tears, although revealing that I talk to myself probably isn't aiding my cause. ;-) At any rate, I have a big trip coming up this weekend, to visit a good friend, and that's our topic this week. Here we go!

Items mentioned in this episode:
Whew! I in fact made it without the tears. I was concerned about that because, well...Cristina means a lot to me. She and I have become close confidantes, and when I think about how meaningful that all is, and that after two years we'll finally be able to talk in person...waterworks!

Do you have any dear friends in your life that you only know from long distance/online? What are the types of things you would talk to him or her about if you were to meet in person?

I'm planning on posting tomorrow, but after that I'll be off until Wednesday since I'll be on my trip. In the meantime, follow Cristina and I on Twitter:

...for all the fun details from our friendship weekend!

  1. I plan on praying the novena too! :)

Have a wonderful trip, and I will pray for your safe travel on Saturday morning (I do *not* like flying either).

  2. Cindy, thank you so much, dear! And I'm thrilled to know that you'll be praying the novena with us! I remember that last year's novena was how you found this blog.

I loved the top you wore in the video, so much so that I had to post a comment for the first time (been a long-time reader of the blog).

  4. LARA!!! Thank you so much! How nice to see you on here!! I hope that you'll leave more comments now. ;-) I actually made that top. Are you a knitter?

I crochet, which is how I found your blog. I Googled 'catholic crochet' and when I saw that you were a librarian too I had to follow.

I've been looking out for a nice crochet pattern with that neckline. It's gorgeous!

  5. Hi again Lara! This is so exciting, 2 comments in one day. :0 The pattern is a knit one, unfortunately. It's called Summer Set By the Sea:

...and it's free if you ever want to learn to knit. ;-)

Thank you for commenting! I read and appreciate every single one, and I will respond to each one personally!
